Responsibilities
- Execute end-of-week closing procedures including journal entries and reconciliations
- Process payroll and accounts payable/receivable transactions with precision
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for management review
- Manage weekend bank deposits and cash flow monitoring
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and MS Excel
- Assist with month-end closing activities and audit preparations
- Collaborate with remote finance team during weekend operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, MS Excel, and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail with error-spotting abilities
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday, 8 AM - 5 PM)
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Virginia-based CPA license preferred but not required
