Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable with 99.9% accuracy
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow)
- Manage multi-currency transactions for international clients
- Implement QuickBooks cloud solutions for SMB clients
- Lead month-end closing processes within tight deadlines
- Train junior staff on bookkeeping best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification required
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Experience with construction or healthcare accounting a plus
- Proficiency in Xero and Sage 50 software
- Detail-oriented with zero tolerance for errors
- Ability to manage 15+ client portfolios simultaneously
