Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the full-cycle bookkeeping process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Perform accurate and timely bank reconciliations and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for clients.
  • Process payroll accurately and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with tax professionals to ensure seamless tax filing processes.
  • Maintain and organize financial records and documentation for audit purposes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience, preferably in a public accounting firm or high-volume corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage Intacct.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
  • Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
