Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheets).
- Process payroll and manage tax filings in strict adherence to federal and state regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasting.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documentation.
- Communicate effectively with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries and account status.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role (2+ years preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other standard office software.
- Deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
