Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor/client relationships
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for client review
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance filings
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred)
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Collaborate with CPAs during annual audits and tax season
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent certification (CPA/CMA a plus)
- Proven track record of managing complex financial reconciliations
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for client/stakeholder interactions
