Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial records.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial reports.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Prepare and assist with annual tax filings and year-end audits.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Associate degree in Accounting or relevant certification (e.g., NACPB, CPA) preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
