Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 small to medium businesses
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and P&L reports
- Assist with quarterly tax filings and year-end audits
- Maintain accurate QuickBooks and Xero accounting systems
- Collaborate with CPAs on compliance matters
- Implement process improvements for financial efficiency
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Xero and Excel
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in fast-paced environment
- Professional certification (QB ProAdvisor, AAP) preferred
