Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with precision
- Process complex accounts payable/receivable for 15+ clients
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Manage sales tax filings across multiple jurisdictions
- Oversee payroll processing and compliance
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online systems
- Collaborate with CPAs during audit cycles
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced QuickBooks Online certification required
- Expertise in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance preferred
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Proficiency with Xero or similar platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- CPA or EA designation a significant advantage
