Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for diverse client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare month-end closing reports and financial statements with precision
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Process multi-state payroll and tax filings accurately
- Implement financial controls and improve accounting workflows
- Collaborate with CPAs during audits and compliance reviews
- Maintain organized digital financial records in cloud-based systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record in month-end closing and financial reporting
- Familiarity with California payroll regulations and sales tax compliance
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Advanced certification (QB ProAdvisor, AIPB, or CPA candidate)
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error tolerance for financial data
