Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ diverse clients including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing
- Prepare monthly financial statements, P&L reports, and budget variance analyses
- Oversee QuickBooks implementation and optimization for new client onboarding
- Coordinate sales tax filings and ensure compliance with Florida state regulations
- Lead month-end closing processes and provide financial insights to business owners
- Maintain organized digital filing systems and audit trails
- Train junior staff on bookkeeping best practices and software proficiency
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance (Bachelor's preferred) with 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record of managing multi-client portfolios with $1M+ revenue
- Expert knowledge of GAAP principles and Florida tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with error reconciliation capabilities
- Strong communication skills for client consultations and training
