Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial statements
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and vendor communications
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for multiple entities
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred)
- Conduct financial audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Provide strategic financial insights to executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience with multi-entity portfolios
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Certified Public Bookkeeper (CPB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification
- Deep understanding of GAAP and Tennessee/North Carolina tax regulations
- Proven experience with month-end closing processes
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication abilities for client/stakeholder interactions
