Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and process payroll for multiple entities
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulatory requirements
- Lead month-end closing processes and assist with annual audits
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred)
- Provide financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-entity portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop/Online and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record of managing month-end closing cycles
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP and payroll processing regulations
- Professional certification (CPA, CB, or QuickBooks ProAdvisor) strongly preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with high attention to numerical accuracy
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments with competing priorities
