Responsibilities
- Oversee daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and prepare general ledger entries.
- Generate accurate financial statements, including profit and loss and balance sheets.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes and tax preparation.
- Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with labor laws.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in professional bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero (Advanced level required).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
