Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ diverse client portfolios
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and investment accounts monthly
- Prepare and file quarterly sales tax returns and year-end 1099s
- Generate customized financial statements and variance analyses
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online for new clients
- Oversee payroll processing and HRIS integration
- Lead month-end close procedures with zero tolerance for errors
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with S-corporations
- QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification mandatory
- Expert proficiency in Excel with advanced formula knowledge
- Proven track record with multi-state tax compliance
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Experience with construction industry accounting a major plus
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven remote work environment
