Responsibilities
- Prepare and file complex federal, state, and international tax returns for corporate and individual clients
- Lead tax planning strategies to optimize client financial outcomes
- Conduct tax research and provide authoritative guidance on emerging tax legislation
- Manage client relationships and serve as primary point of contact for tax-related inquiries
- Supervise junior associates and ensure compliance with IRS regulations
- Utilize tax software (e.g., ProSystem fx, CCH Axcess) for efficient processing
- Collaborate with audit and advisory teams for integrated financial solutions
Qualifications
- CPA license or active pursuit (pass all sections)
- 3+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting or corporate tax
- Advanced proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of US tax code (IRC), state tax regulations, and international tax principles
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred)
