Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processing and bank reconciliations
- Coordinate with tax accountants for quarterly filings and year-end audits
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial compliance
- Lead month-end closing procedures with accuracy and timeliness
- Provide financial insights to support client business decisions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in a professional services environment
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record of managing multi-client portfolios
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and California tax regulations
- CPA or equivalent certification highly preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error financial reporting
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven settings with competing priorities
