Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with precision
- Process complex payroll and tax filings for multi-state clients
- Generate month-end financial statements and variance analyses
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow management
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online for client portfolios
- Coordinate external audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Mentor junior accounting staff on best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced QuickBooks Online certification required
- Proficiency in Excel with VLOOKUP/PivotTable expertise
- BS/BA in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Proven multi-state tax compliance experience
- Exceptional attention to detail with 0% reconciliation error rate
- Strong problem-solving skills for complex financial scenarios
- Ability to start within 48 hours of offer
