Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ diverse clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets) with variance analysis
- Process payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Coordinate with tax preparers and auditors for quarterly/year-end reporting
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial workflow efficiency
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for compliance readiness
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks
- Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent professional certification
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines with competing priorities
- Familiarity with multi-state tax compliance and sales tax filings
