Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 client accounts including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with detailed variance analysis
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes with strict attention to deadlines
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks Online, Xero) for operational efficiency
- Collaborate with tax professionals to support audit preparation and tax documentation
- Develop customized financial reports for clients to inform strategic business decisions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA preferred)
- Proven track record of managing month-end/year-end closing processes
- Exceptional attention to detail with demonstrated accuracy in financial reporting
