Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile multi-client accounts using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses for 15+ clients
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles with 99.8% accuracy
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 50+ employees using ADP
- Lead month-end closing procedures within 3 business day deadlines
- Collaborate with tax professionals to support annual audits
- Implement process improvements using Microsoft Excel advanced functions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks/Xero
- Proven track record of managing multi-client accounting portfolios
- Expertise in payroll processing and tax compliance (Oregon/IRS)
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation preferred
- Experience with construction or professional services industries
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero tolerance for errors
