Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 clients using QuickBooks Online
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Handle payroll processing and tax filings (quarterly/annually)
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Maintain organized digital financial records in cloud-based systems
- Collaborate with CPAs on year-end reporting and tax strategy
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (advanced formulas)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of managing multi-client portfolios
- Strong understanding of sales tax and payroll regulations (CA)
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments
- Relevant certifications (e.g., QuickBooks ProAdvisor) preferred
