Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll systems
- Prepare financial statements and monthly reports for stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Assist with audits and tax preparation processes
- Implement and improve accounting workflows using QuickBooks Online
- Collaborate with senior management on budget forecasting
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- CPA or Certified Bookkeeper designation a plus
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience with multi-currency transactions
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
