Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll records
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions monthly
- Manage sales tax filings and compliance documentation
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and aging reports
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with CPAs for annual audits and tax preparation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Proficient with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
