Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll for 20+ clients
- Prepare financial statements and quarterly reports using QuickBooks Online
- Oversee sales tax filings and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with CPAs during audits and tax season
- Implement process improvements for financial workflows
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Proven track record with multi-client portfolio management
- Strong understanding of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation a plus
