Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax filings where required.
- Maintain an organized filing system for all financial documents.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial staff.
