Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile multi-entity accounting systems with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for executive stakeholders
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow management
- Implement and optimize accounting software integrations (QuickBooks Online, Xero)
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals during compliance reviews
- Develop financial forecasting models and variance analysis reports
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process documentation improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience with multi-state entities
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Xero platforms
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Power Query)
- Proven experience with month-end close procedures and reconciliations
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax compliance regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with financial reporting experience
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation a plus
