Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for diverse client portfolios using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements including balance sheets, P&L reports, and cash flow statements
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes with strict attention to detail
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals during quarterly reviews
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls for financial data integrity
- Lead month-end closing procedures with precision and timeliness
- Provide strategic financial insights to support executive decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience with high-volume transactions
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Excel
- Proven track record of managing multi-client accounting portfolios
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to microscopic detail
- Strong communication abilities for stakeholder reporting
- Experience with forensic accounting a significant plus
