Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll accurately and efficiently using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage time and attendance systems, resolving discrepancies proactively
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations including EDD and IRS requirements
- Prepare and file payroll tax forms (941s, 940s, W-2s) and year-end reconciliations
- Handle garnishments, deductions, and benefit deductions with precision
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries within SLA standards
- Conduct payroll audits and maintain meticulous documentation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state operations
- ADP certification or equivalent payroll software proficiency required
- Deep knowledge of CA labor laws, EDD regulations, and FLSA compliance
- Proficiency in Excel with advanced formula knowledge and data analysis skills
- Proven ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for stakeholder interactions
