Responsibilities
- Financial Reconciliation: Perform daily bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheets.
- Accounts Management: Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all invoices are processed and payments are made on time.
- Compliance: Assist with year-end tax preparation and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- General Ledger: Maintain and update the general ledger, including journal entries and accruals.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent professional experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Software: Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (preferred) or Xero.
- Skills: Strong understanding of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to clients.
