Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax documents and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Process payroll and manage employee expense reports.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) to maintain accurate digital records.
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures efficiently.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero accounting software is required.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with clients and team members.
