Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Manage the AP workflow in our ERP system, ensuring all payments are scheduled and released according to terms.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing issues.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documentation.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and prepare necessary accruals.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar financial role.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors and ensure data integrity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with a high degree of self-discipline.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
