Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts for diverse client portfolios
- Process accounts payable/receivable with precision and timeliness
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Manage bank reconciliations and ensure cash flow accuracy
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for assigned clients
- Implement and optimize accounting software workflows (QuickBooks focus)
- Assist with audit preparation and regulatory compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience in public accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (VBA skills a plus)
- Proven track record of managing multi-client accounting portfolios
- Expert knowledge of GAAP principles and IRS tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with error reconciliation capabilities
- Strong analytical skills for financial reporting and variance analysis
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, AIPB) highly desirable
