Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll cycles
- Generate financial reports (P&L, balance sheets) for client review
- Utilize QuickBooks Online for daily transaction recording
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and audits
- Implement bookkeeping best practices for diverse industries
- Collaborate with CPAs on tax documentation preparation
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years professional bookkeeping experience
- QuickBooks Online certification or equivalent proficiency
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros)
- Proven track record of reconciling complex accounts
- Familiarity with sales tax filing (AZ state requirements)
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
