Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank statements
- Process monthly payroll and ensure timely tax filings
- Generate financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow) using QuickBooks Online
- Manage vendor relationships and optimize payment processes
- Assist with annual audits and prepare supporting documentation
- Implement internal controls to prevent financial discrepancies
- Provide financial insights to clients through monthly analysis reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple client portfolios simultaneously
