Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accurate processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly and quarterly bank reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, financial statements, and balance sheets.
- Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
- Assist with annual tax preparations and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Utilize QuickBooks Online or Xero to manage financial data and generate customized reports.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals during audit cycles.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience in a corporate or accounting firm setting.
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation or Associate in Accounting (AAS) degree preferred.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage accounting software is mandatory.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills a plus.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
