Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for over 150 employees with 100% accuracy.
- Manage time and attendance data using ADP Workforce Now.
- Ensure full compliance with FLSA, Michigan state laws, and federal tax regulations.
- Administer employee benefits, 401k, and leave of absence requests.
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries promptly.
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll tax reports.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of progressive payroll experience, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Proficient in payroll software (ADP, Paychex, or Ceridian) and Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Deep understanding of payroll tax laws, garnishments, and deductions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and correct errors.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting preferred.
