Responsibilities
- Manage General Ledger: Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all entries are reconciled and posted correctly on a daily basis.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, verify vendor statements, and manage collections to ensure healthy cash flow.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to identify discrepancies and resolve them promptly.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review.
- Payroll Administration: Oversee payroll processing for the company, ensuring tax filings and compliance with local regulations.
- Compliance: Ensure all accounting practices comply with GAAP and internal company policies.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Bachelor's preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop/Online and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and ensure high-quality data integrity.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams.
- Soft Skills: Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
