Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger accounting activities and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, reports, and reconciliations for management review.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Perform internal audits and assist external auditors during the annual review process.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and operational support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
