Responsibilities
- Financial Management: Oversee daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable for a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies immediately.
- Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, trial balances, and variance reports for management review.
- Payroll: Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize QuickBooks Online and Xero to manage client ledgers and financial data.
- Compliance: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records in compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries regarding financial statements and account status.
Qualifications
- Education: Associateās degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Bachelorās preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience in a professional setting.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage Intacct, and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP, payroll tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Location: Must be willing to work on-site in Denver, CO or hybrid schedule.
