Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, such as balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation (1099s/W-2s).
- Monitor and manage cash flow and financial budgets.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience (2+ years preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax laws.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
