Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ clients across various industries
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow)
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Assist with quarterly tax preparation and audits
- Implement and optimize accounting systems (QuickBooks Online, Xero)
- Train junior bookkeepers on financial best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and tax compliance requirements
- Experience with multi-entity accounting and intercompany reconciliations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
