Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile monthly bank statements
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll operations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and assist with tax documentation
- Implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Collaborate with CPAs during quarterly audits and year-end closing
- Manage client financial databases using QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Generate custom financial reports for stakeholders and leadership teams
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation
- Strong knowledge of sales tax compliance and Texas regulations
- Proven ability to meet deadlines with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Experience with multi-entity bookkeeping systems
