Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ small to medium-sized businesses
- Process accounts payable/receivable with 99.5% accuracy
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts
- Implement QuickBooks cloud solutions for clients
- Coordinate with auditors during annual reviews
- Maintain organized digital filing systems per SOX compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online and Excel (VLOOKUP/Pivot Tables)
- Proven track record of multi-client portfolio management
- Familiarity with sales tax filing (IN state)
- Advanced proficiency in GAAP principles
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation a plus
