Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse client portfolios
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations (CA-specific)
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online systems
- Collaborate with CFOs on strategic financial analysis
- Lead month-end closing processes with zero tolerance for errors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping in CA or multi-state firms
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- Proven experience with sales tax filings (BOE)
- Advanced knowledge of payroll processing (ADP/QuickBooks)
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
