Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile multi-company general ledger accounts with 99.9% accuracy
- Oversee full-cycle AP/AR operations for 50+ client portfolios
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online for high-growth clients
- Lead month-end close processes with strict deadlines
- Manage sales tax filings across multiple jurisdictions
- Mentor junior bookkeepers using our proprietary training system
- Collaborate with CFOs on financial strategy and forecasting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping with QuickBooks Online
- Advanced Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- QuickBooks Online Advanced Certification required
- Proven experience with multi-state sales tax compliance
- Experience in public accounting or CPA firm preferred
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills for client-facing interactions
