Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 small to mid-sized businesses
- Prepare month-end closing reports and financial statements
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Implement QuickBooks solutions and optimize accounting workflows
- Collaborate with CPAs during tax season and audits
- Maintain organized digital financial records using Xero/QuickBooks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years full-cycle bookkeeping in a professional services environment
- Advanced QuickBooks Online and Excel proficiency
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and Colorado tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage multiple client portfolios
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail with 100% accuracy in financial reporting
