What You'll Do:
Our ideal candidate will take ownership of our financial processes, from processing invoices to preparing comprehensive month-end reports. You will work closely with management to provide insights into the company's financial health.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including profit and loss and balance sheets.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls.
- Assist with annual tax preparation and audit support.
- Manage payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Pro/Premier, Xero, or Sage 50) is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, macros).
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Bachelor's preferred).
- Experience with payroll systems (ADP, Gusto) is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
