Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring 100% accuracy in all financial records.
- Perform comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual bank reconciliations.
- Process and monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheets.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end audit schedules and tax documentation.
- Streamline bookkeeping processes and implement internal controls to prevent errors.
- Collaborate with management to forecast budgets and monitor financial performance.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in full-cycle bookkeeping or accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage, and expert-level MS Excel skills.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect discrepancies quickly.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
