Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse clients
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Generate financial reports (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow)
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and maintain general ledgers
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems
- Prepare sales tax returns and assist with audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (advanced functions)
- Deep understanding of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Proven ability to manage multiple client portfolios
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
