Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse client portfolios
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and investment accounts monthly
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Process payroll and sales tax filings using QuickBooks Online
- Implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with CPAs during annual audits and tax preparation
- Train junior bookkeepers on proprietary financial software
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- CPA or EA certification preferred
- Proven experience with multi-state sales tax compliance
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
